Indulging in the sweet taste of a cookie will make you feel extra happy, as Tim Horton's brings their Smile Cookie campaign back.

Running from Monday, September 12 to Sunday, September 18, cookies will be available for purchase for $1 each.

Owner of Humboldt Tim Horton's, Dan Grywacheski, says your dollar purchase goes right back to the community.

"It's a fundraiser for local charities. Over the last few years we have went with the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation," he explained. "Guests are encouraged to come in and buy a cookie for a dollar and the full dollar will go towards the foundation."

Grywacheski added that selecting the hospital foundation to support each year is a fairly simple decision.

"Everybody relies on the hospital. I know the hospital and team are helping us lots this year getting the word out. It's a great charity that benefits everyone."

Last year was a milestone for the Humboldt franchise, as they served up over $5,000 in cookies to the area.

Grywacheski says that they are hoping to reach that mark once again.

"We went hard last year. We worked hard around the clock and the community support was unreal. We are hoping to meet or beat it this year."

He added that they will accommodate larger purchases as well to ensure the smile transfers from the cookie to faces of customers.

"We're encouraging even the bigger buildings that if you want to buy for the office, we have order forms available," he said.

Grywacheski says that you can call them at 306-682-4767 to place orders ahead of time.
