The Humboldt and District Food Bank will benefit once again from the FCC Drive Away Hunger campaign.

The campaign kicked off on Thursday with a BBQ at the Humboldt Coop with funds raised going to the Food Bank.

FCC has been doing this campaign for many years. This year marks year 15 and they hope to break last years goal.

Adriana, Relationship Manager with FFC in Humboldt talked about last year and how the Drive Away Hunger Campaign went.

"Last year was pretty awesome we got recognized within Farm Credit. We had one of the national tractor tours."

The amount raised was quite large for the area.

"Every dollar is three meals and every pound of food is a meal. We brought in over 14 thousand meals for the Humboldt and District Food Bank."

The schools, as well as other business, help out. The drive goes until October 13th.
