The City of Humboldt is once again asking for your assistance in recognizing excellence in the area.

On January 12, when the Humboldt Broncos battle the Notre Dame Hounds, the city will recognize teams or individuals who won a provincial championship or finished in a top three standing at either a national or western Canadian championship in any sport, cultural, or recreational activity.

"The event is a great way to celebrate those in Humboldt and area who have excelled," stated Michelle Stevenson, Rec Program Coordinator. "There is no age limit and people from a wide variety of disciplines have been acknowledged in previous years."

Those who are spotlighted, however, must first be nominated.

Nominations must be submitted to the city by December 22. A nomination form is available online.

All award recipients will receive a complimentary ticket for the game between the Broncos and Hounds.
