The City of Humboldt is looking for input on how to improve their semi-annual community guide.

Communications Director Jennifer Brooks says that opinions brought forward by residents will help update the guide next year.

"We're looking for residents to provide feedback on the city's community guide because we are going to renew it in 2018."

Brooks says that the guide is an important and easy to use tool to access information.

"The guide provides a lot of information about municipal services that we offer as well as community organizations and opportunities for people to participate in recreation, arts, health, and leisure activities in the community."

She noted that feedback from residents will ensure that the city is on target with the city's main print publication.

"We want to make sure that the guide continues to meet the needs of residents as well as meet the needs of ourselves as an organization to get information out to the public."

Those who submit their information online will be eligible to win a $25 prepaid Mastercard. Surveys are also available in hard copy at the Uniplex or City Hall.

The survey is open until June 22.
