City Reminding of Closure During Walk a Mile Thursday

As red high heels get slipped on Thursday morning, the City of Humboldt is reminding you of a closure.

They say that during the two hours of Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, Main Street between Glenn Hall Drive and Sixth Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic.

The city notes that there will be access for local traffic, otherwise detours will be posted to navigate the brief closure.

Walk a Mile begins with a barbecue at 11:00am at Civic Park, and runs until 1:00pm. Main Street will be re-opened in full following the conclusion of the event.

The clacking of high heels will begin at 11:45am.
