The City of Humboldt is installing flushing points around the city which is causing water system interruptions for a number of areas.

A Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory is in effect for the areas with work being performed which will help the water mains stay free of sediments and keep the high quality of water in tact.

The PDWA came into effect on Friday and work over the weekend has given a clean slate to the end of 13th street, Telfer Place, and Flory Place. All water samples came back clean and clear.

Areas still under the PDWA are as follows:

Bence Place-Flushing work and water sampling has not yet started; work will begin the week of November 9, 2015.

Centennial Place-Flushing work and water sampling has not yet started; work will begin the week of November 9, 2015.

Canada Place-A water main break has occurred; crews are completing repairs.  Flushing work and water sampling will begin the week of November 9, 2015.

Affected residents will be notified directly by the City when a PDWA has been lifted.

Call City Hall at 682-2525 if you need more information.
