The City of Humboldt is providing a pair of options when it comes to the tough task of remembering loved ones.

The city announced Thursday they have constructed a columbarium in the St. Augustine Cemetery that can hold up to 120 urns.

The structure, built of polished granite has 60 niches with each able to hold two urns.

Protected by a bronze door plaque, the niches are $1,400 to purchase this year with the price increasing in years ahead. In 2017 one will cost $1,470, they will be $1,550 if you purchase one in 2018.

They also have a memorial wall available on each end of the structure, you can purchase plaques that can be customized. Those start at $500.

There is also plans in the future to construct more columbaria as well as add benches and landscaping to the area.
