A 49 year-old woman is facing charges after three people were killed in a crash on Sunday morning near Saskatoon.

Saskatoon RCMP say Catherine McKay is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning on charges of impaired driving causing death.

A 34 year old man, a 33 year old woman, and a two year-old boy all died at the scene of the crash.

According to police a Hyundai Elantra was trying to cross Highway 11 at Wanuskewin Road when it was struck by a Jeep Wrangler.

A five year-old girl was sent to hospital with serious injuries, and a source is saying she has now also passed away.

Police are continuing to investigate.
