The town of Bruno didn't let stubborn Old Man Winter get in the way of welcoming in signs of spring on Saturday.

Despite the blowing snow that hit the area the day before, the Community Hall was full of Easter-themed activities and shopping for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

4Paws Games and Publishing hosted the annual trade show, which showcased over 50 vendors selling crafts, baking, art, beauty products and more.

"Parents can take their time looking and the kids get to have some fun and leave with smiles on their faces, which is just awesome!" says event organizer, Vickianne Caswell.

Caswell says she tries to bring something new to each tradeshow she hosts, as the owner of 4Paws. This year, visitors were welcome to take a free Origami Rabbit Class. The Easter Bunny was also there to delight the children, and many other crafts and activities and storytelling also kept little hands entertained and busy.

Visitors were encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to the event, as proceeds will go towards helping the Humboldt Food Bank.
