The Bruno sports grounds were filled with cars from almost every decade as their 11th annual show and shine took place yesterday.

Included in the car show was the tractor pull, which saw tractors and their drivers compete in all sorts of categories.

Brian Krentz explains this event isn't possible without sponsors.

"We have well over 100 sponsors here today, and too many to mention, we just have to thank them because they make this a free event."

The car show saw vehicles as far away as Manitoba and Alberta, and the tractor pull saw drivers from all over the Province.

Krentz says the weather certainly cooperated with the event.

"Most people like to see not-many clouds when they bring out their classic car. It's just right, perfect temperature, a little breeze, it's not too bad. It's really nice out."

The 11th annual show and shine was quite successful, with an approximate 1500 people in attendance.

Krentz says the support is overwhelming.

"We just have to go and look through the crowd, and as you see the crowd gets bigger and bigger every year and that's a good achievement right there. When you see more and more people coming out, as well as old faces coming back. It's good to see everybody out."

The Bruno Lions also held a food concession stand, with profits going towards the Bruno Lions.
