Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, the driver charged in the bus crash involving the Humboldt Broncos hockey team, on April 6th, has been granted an adjournment from his case until later in October.

Sidhu, and his lawyer, Santam Aujla, were not present during the October 2nd hearing. Aujla credited the reason for the absence to needing more time to review the specifics of the case. Sidhu is being charged with 16 counts of dangerous driving causing death and 13 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily injury.

The case has been adjourned until October 23rd.
