On Friday, April 20th local band Broken Roads held a benefit concert at the BV Bar with money raised going towards the Humboldt Broncos.

The event started with a steak night, silent auction items, live auction items, and concert.

There were many items available for individuals to bid on. From framed artwork to jerseys to tickets to Country Thunder and even a Great Western Keg.

There were over 250 people coming and going all night.

A total of over $5250.00 was raised with the night's events.

A special note from some longtime Humboldt visitors was even was shared.

The note was from Bubba Ross, Henry Goodwin, and Mark Johnson who are duck hunters who come up every year, from South Carolina, for the last 20 years or more.

It simply stated that Humboldt is like a family to them and they donated $650.00.

The evening was well supported and people had a good time.
