The Amber Alert issued last night for a missing young girl has officially been canceled.

The subject of the alert, Emma O'Keeffe, was located in the same vehicle that was stolen. The SUV was parked in an industrial area within the City of North Battleford at approximately 6:45 AM Monday morning.

The North Battleford RCMP detachment, along with EMS personnel attended the scene after workers in the area alerted them regarding the vehicle that matched the Amber Alert.

O'Keeffe, who suffers from autism and epilepsy, was taken to the hospital to be examined. She has since been released and is back with her family. The investigation is ongoing as the Saskatchewan RCMP has yet to locate or identify the suspect. They also wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.
