A Calgary trucking company owner is facing charges after the Humboldt Broncos Bus Crash. 

Sukhmander Singh, the owner of Adesh Deol Trucking, was not in court today, his lawyer appeared for him and requested more time.

Eight charges relating to non-compliance with various federal and provincial safety regulations are on the docket for Singh. These charges are as follows:

  • failing to maintain logs for drivers’ hours of service
  • failing to monitor the compliance of a driver under safety regulations 
  • having more than one daily log for any day

The case has been adjourned to March 15th, 2019.
