The Highway Hotline is reporting that Highway 5 is closed two kilometres west of the Highway 2 junction.

Police and flag people are on site.

Drivers are recommended to avoid the area if possible.

Earlier Wednesday the Hotline encouraged drivers to not travel to Saskatoon due to the weather.
