With the new year right around the corner, it is now time to take a look at the past year for local organizations and what highlighted them, as well as what is upcoming for next year.

The Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery were two busy places in 2018.

"The museum started the year with a travelling exhibit that focused on women's suffrage in Saskatchewan and then transitioned to the Stories of Humboldt exhibit, which included many stories that are unique to the City of Humboldt," said Jean Price, Supervisor with both the Museum and Gallery. She also added that the stories of Humboldt exhibit will be on display into the new year.

In terms of the Gallery, there was just as much to look back on, if not more.

"It was a really exciting past year, we had a lot of very interesting shows, as well we were able to convert our upstairs portion to fit the Broncos memorial pieces."

In 2019, the Museum will host many displays and artifacts, however not much is planned right off the bat. The gallery, however, will kick things into high gear right away, with the first show in January taking place within the first 2 weeks.
