Its been a full Century since the guns went silent during world war one.

This Remembrance day marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. With a mass at 11 AM, The service this year takes place at 2 PM at the St. Augustine Church. Also on Sunday, at the Cenotaph people can catch names of the soldiers who served in World War I at 11 AM.

Remembrance Day is not only honouring those who have fallen in the past, but also most recently. Reverend Al Hingley with the Humboldt Legion on what the 100th year of the First World War ending means.

"It means that we are still here. They (war) not only destroy but also define who we are. The disappointment that the war to end wars was in less than two decades, the world was back at war which shows how little we learn from history."
