Glenn Hall Park will once again host the Humboldt Regional SOLE-stice Classic on May 28th this year.

The track meet, for kids born 2003 to 2008, is a fun way for kids to get started in Track and Field events.

Event Organizer Nicole Urnau says there are different events taking place.

"The events at the SOLE-stice classic include ball throw, long jump, a variety of running events, and also relay at the end of the day. So it's a lot of fun, and we're hoping for great weather, and would love to see a lot of people out. There's already a lot of registrations, but we would love to have some more."

Urnau says this isn't the only SOLE-stice event happening in the Province.

"So there's actually multiple meets that take place throughout the province, so Humboldt is just one of the SOLE-stice classic regional meets. Every region has one. Then the top 3 from each event in Humboldt gets to move on to the Provincial meet which is in Saskatoon."

Urnau explains how your kid can register.

"If you're interested you can register online at solesticeclassic.com by May 25th."
