With a 77-44 win over the Creighton Kodiaks, the Wakaw/Cudworth Warriors will host a provincial semifinal against the Dalmeny Cougars on Saturday, November 4.

The Kodiaks opened the scoring on the first play from scrimmage when Shanovan Francois broke around the outside edge of the Warrior defense for his first of three touchdowns on the day.

The Warriors came right back, scoring 22 straight points before the end of the first quarter with two touchdowns from Landon Kohle, and another from Ryley Goller. Wakaw continued to roll with three more touchdowns from Goller and another from Jack Bellefontaine.

Creighton added another two touchdowns, making the score 54-22 at halftime.

Both teams put up almost the same amount of points in the second half, with the Warriors getting another touchdown from Kohle and two from Ian Broatch.

Francois got his third TD of the game before being forced out with a shoulder injury, while Linden Moore added a pair of majors for the Kodiaks.

Game time for Saturday's semifinal in Wakaw is 1:00pm. There will be a canteen as well as a 50/50 draw.
