The 2018 Men's Provincial Senior Curling Championship will include one local curler.

Verne Anderson of the Wadena Curling Club qualified for provincials while playing second for Eugene Hritzuk's Saskatoon rink.

Hosted in Unity, Hritzuk's rink won their opener over Brian Humble before losing to Lloyd Fell.

They split their next two games, knocking off Doug Flasch before losing to Humble.

In one of the 'C' qualifiers, Hritzuk defeated Mike Kleiter to officially book their ticket to provincials.

Senior provincials will be held in joint along with the women's event in Tisdale from February 20-25.
