A Humboldt native is being recognized for her success in Track and Field in 2015.

26year old, Brianne Theisen-Eaton has been nominated for the Sask Sports Female Athlete of the Year.

If the Heptathlete won, it would make it the third time in as many years, having taken the award in 2013 and 2014.

2015 was very successful year for Brianne Theisen-Eaton taking a Silver medal at Worlds, winning gold in 100m Hurdles and a Silver in Long Jump at the Canadian Track and Field Championship.

The awards are chosen by members and affiliate members of Sask Sports Inc., the voting will take place between from January 18th to the 22nd.
