Humboldt's Brianne Theisen-Eaton is the 2015 Sask Sport Female Athlete of the Year award winner.

This marks the third straight year the heptathlon star has been honoured with the recognition.

The 27 year-old Humboldt Collegiate Institute grad had another banner year on the track circuit, she won a silver medal in the senior women's heptathlon event at the International Association of Athletics Federations World Championships, she won gold in senior women's heptathlon 41st Hypo-Meeting plus a first place finish in the senior women's 100m hurdles and won a silver medal in long jump at the Canadian Track and Field Championships.

Theisen-Eaton also set new personal bests in high jump, long jump, and 200m and with her overall heptathlon score and setting a new Canadian senior outdoor record for women's heptathlon.
    
Theisen-Eaton will undoubtedly be a medal favourite heading to the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
