The Bantam AA Broncos finished up their regular season this weekend with two games played at the Drake Sportsplex.

The first game on Saturday was against the visiting Prince Albert Venice House Pirates. The Broncos came out flying and had a 5-0 lead after the first period. They never looked back and the game ended 10-0 for the Broncos. They were led by Castor Berezuik with three goals. The other goal scorers were McLaren Paulsen, Jackson Allan, Charles Johnston, Kohle Huber, Matthew Porter, Bauer Dumanski, & Brody Mortensen. Trey Kincade stopped all 37 shots he faced for the shutout.
 
On Sunday, the Martensville Marauders were the visiting team. The Broncos found themselves down 5-0 to the league-leading Marauders before the Broncos started their comeback in the second period. Brody Mortensen, Jace Wildeman, Matthew Porter, & Tyler Lindal all scored to make it a 5-4 game with 14 minutes left in the third period. The Broncos were playing with a short bench and the Marauders took advantage and scored seven unanswered goals to take the game 11-4.
 
The Broncos finished fifth in the tough North Division. They will begin their playoffs on Tuesday when they travel to Saskatoon to take on the Outlaws at 7:15 pm at the Rod Hamm Arena.
