The Muenster Curling Club was abuzz with young adults and spectators Saturday for the first annual St. Pete's Cheap Sheets Funspiel.
The event was organized by St. Peter's College Student Government to raise funds for Telemiracle and to provide a fun day of curling for its participants.
Six teams took to the curling rink and enjoyed a canteen full of delicious and energizing offerings such as soup, burgers, and doughnuts. Generous prizes were also donated from local businesses.
Student body president, Kale Dobrohoczki, says he hopes to be a part of more curling events like this in the future.
"This is the first year we've done it, and we're hoping to continue it throughout the years," he says.
