The Midget AA Humboldt Broncos added two more wins on the weekend.

On Saturday, the Broncos hosted the Saskatoon Screaming Eagles at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

It was Humboldt who came out screaming on the scoreboard, with six goals in the opening period.

Maguire Scheidt got the scoring started just 2:01 into the game on the power play. Just under 90 seconds later it was 3-0 Humboldt on goals by Kody Perlett and Damon Vanderlinde.

Perlett made it 4-0 midway through the period, with Brock Morrow getting the fifth goal. Vanderlinde's second of the afternoon came on the man advantage late in the period.

Saskatoon pushed back early in the second period, scoring 18 seconds into the middle frame. They made it 6-2 three minutes later, but were unable to continue to pick away at the deficit.

Skylar Wallin scored early in the third period to make it 7-2, with Ryder Klapak depositing a shorthanded tally for Humboldt's eighth goal of the game.

Dawson Cochrane picked up the win in goal for the Broncos, making 40 saves.

Sunday's game saw another Saskatoon team come to the EPA, as the Steel were in town.

The Broncos picked up where they left off in a game against the Steel a week prior, running away with a 7-0 decision.

Vanderlinde had a natural hat trick in the second period, with Morrow, Wallin, Dylan Lindal and Hunter Edmonds getting credit for the other goals.

Ryland Pronych secured the Broncos net, stopping all 37 shots faced for the shutout.

Humboldt is 5-0-1 on the season and will next take on the Saskatoon River Kings in the Bridge City on November 2.
