The SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Regina wrapped up yesterday with the final three games taking place.

In the day's first game, the two teams made up of players 18 and under, Team Garbutt representing the MJHL faced off against Team Schwartz of the SJHL. Humboldt Broncos defenseman Chase Flegueiras scored the fourth goal of the game for Team Schwartz as the SJHL reps came away with a 4-2 victory.

Humboldt Broncos goaltender Dane Dow got the start in game two that saw the MJHL's Team Belfour take on Team Mitchell of the SJHL. Dow stopped 24 of 27 but did not the get offensive support, as Team Belfour secured a 4-0 shutout win.

The final game of the showcase was once again won by the SJHL's Team Kunitz as they took a commanding 8-1 victory over Team Zajac of the MJHL. Humboldt Broncos' Brayden Camrud and Michael Clarke each picked up an assist in the victory giving them two points apiece throughout their two games.

The five Broncos taking part in the showcase will now head back to Humboldt to prepare for a home and home set with the Melfort Mustangs starting in Melfort on Friday, January 18th.
