The Senior Hockey leagues were jam-packed with games coming into the new year. Here is a recap of what went on.

 

Wheatland Senior League

Friday, January 4th

The Wheatland Senior League saw 1 game on Friday night.

The Imperial Sabres came away with the 10-2 win over the Wadena Wildcats at home.

Saturday, January 5th

5 games were played on a busy Saturday night.

The Porcupine Plain Blues defeated the Dundurn Wheatkings by a final score of 7-0.

The Craik Warriors played the Wadena Wildcats, Craik won that 13-3.

The Kinistino Tigers and Allan Flames went all the way to overtime, with Kinistino winning 4-3.

And the Kelvington Wheat Kings and Jansen Jets were in Nokomis, that was a 5-3 win for Kelvington.

Sunday, January 7th

One lone game on the slate on Sunday.

The Craik Warriors were in Kelvington to take on the Wheat Kings. Final score was 

 

 

Highway Hockey League

Friday. January 4th

3 games on the schedule in the Highway league on Friday night.

The Lumsden Monarchs defeated the Cupar Canucks by a score of 7-5.

The Bethune Bulldogs shut down the Raymore Rockets, final in that was 4-0.

Finally, a 4-1 win for the Southey Marlins over the Strasbourg Maroons.

Saturday, January 5th

3 games on the schedule as well for Saturday.

It was the Bethune Bulldogs winning 6-2 over the Southey Marlins.

Then, it was the Bethune Bulldogs taking on the Southey Marlins. Final from that was 6-2 Bulldogs.

And last but not least, the Lumsden Monarchs defeat the Strasbourg Maroons 9-1.

 

 

Twin Rivers Hockey League

Friday, January 4th

A full schedule, with 5 games going on around the league.

The Clavet Cougars win one over the St. Louis Blues by a final score of 6-3

A 6-1 win went to the Rosthern Wheatkings over the Aberdeen Knights.

The Cudworth Tricky Maroons took a tough loss to the Birch Hills Blackhawks, final was 6-3.

The Dalmeny Sabres win big at home, 8-5 over the Waldheim Warriors.

And lastly, the Warman Wildcats win 602 over the Hague Royals on the road.

Saturday, January 5th

3 games transpired over the course of Saturday.

The Dalmeny Sabres with another win, this time in Waldheim over the host Warriors, final was 7-1.

As well, the Warman Wildcats with an absolutely huge victory over the Cudworth Tricky Maroons 14-2.

And finally, the St. Louis Blues took a 9-7 win over the Clavet Cougars.

Sunday, January 6th

1 lone game on the schedule, as the Rosthern Wheatkings defeat the Hague Royals 6-2 in Hague.

 

Fort Carlton Hockey League

Friday, January 4th

1 lone game for Friday night in the Fort Carlton league.

The Naicam Vikings travelled to Tisdale to take on the Ramblers, they went home with a 12-4 win.

Saturday, January 5th

2 games on the schedule on Saturday.

The Naicam Vikings were on the road yet again, this time they lost to the Hafford Hawks 5-3.

As well, the Tisdale Ramblers hosted the Hague Royals, and won it 10-6.

 

 

Long Lake Hockey League

Friday, January 4th

The Long Lake League saw 3 games on the go, with one being a rescheduled game from early December.

The Watrous Winterhawks went into Drake to play the Canucks and came home with a 5-2 win.

As well, the Foam Lake Flyers had a big win over the Leroy Braves, the final score was 14-1.

And lastly, in the rescheduled game, it was the Lanigan Pirates winning 6-4 over the Wynyard Monarchs.

Saturday, January 5th

The Wynyard Monarchs headed to Davidson and won 4-1 over the Cyclones.

And finally, the Drake Canucks win it 8-3 over the Lanigan Pirates.
