Winner takes all... unless there's a tie.

The Humboldt Curling Club's Fire-Alert Senior Cash League saw a tie for first place this season.

Sitting atop the standings with equal records were teams led by Kevin Kalthoff and Laura Jurgens.

Kalthoff's team is composed of thirds Tom Johnson and Brian Wempe, second Larry Reinhardt and lead Barrie Broad. 

On Jurgens' team is third Kim Jurgens, second Agnes Viczko and lead Lora Fraess.

New Ladies Rec League

Ongoing at the club right now is a new Ladies Rec League. It is the first time that a rec league has been offered for female players.

The club says that it will run on Wednesday's until the end of March and new teams are always welcome.

On the first day of play, Linda Broad defeated Renea Jurgens while Jennifer Showers and Team Viczko tied.
