It was a busy weekend in the Richardson Pioneer Men's Fastball League.
On Sunday the Wynyard Blues hosted the Rhein Rockets. The game started out with the Rockets taking an early lead 2-0 in the 1st. However, the Blues answers back in the bottom of the first tieing the game up. The Blues kept up the streak and pushed the lead 5-2 in the bottom of the second. The Rockets didn't give up, they tied the game in the top of the fifth. The game was at a standstill and ended in a tie.
In game two of the doubleheader between the Blues and the Rockets, the Blues started things off strong with a two-run lead in the first. The Rockets answered back with two of their own. The Blues then went on to score four more to win the game 6-2. Adam Jordan had a good day with 3 doubles and a single, while Mike Jordan went 6 for 6 with a sac fly and a walk mixed in.
In Quill Lake, on Sunday the Rosebud Royals took on the Wadena Wildcats. The game was an intense match, The Royals defeated the Wildcats with a score of 12-9.
