Graduated Broncos forward Trevor Posch has committed to Southern Alberta Institute of Technology for the upcoming season.

He tells us how the Trojans worked out.

"I was looking around trying to find a school to go to and I called their coach, we talked a bit, he told me to apply. I did and I got accepted."

This year's Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Roger Neilson Memorial Award winner compiled 53 goals and 49 assists in 149 games over three seasons with the Broncos.

The Leduc product is happy he gets to continue to play competitive hockey and get an education.

"Yeah, it's awesome. I'm really excited to be able to keep playing and I'm also excited to get some school done while doing it."

"He was an outstanding individual who always made time to connect with the fans and provide assistance to anyone whenever it was needed," General Manager Darcy Haugan said in a news release.

Teammate Luke Kempf has also committed to the Trojans, something Posch feels will make the jump to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference from Junior "A."

"Luke is a great guy, you can't complain. It will be nice to have someone I know around for sure."

Posch was also voted as the Fan Favourite for the last two seasons.
