The Humboldt Mohawks took on the Nipawin Bears on a cool and windy day in Humboldt. The first match up between the two teams was a close one as the Mohawks won by a score of 24-10 last week. This game was a completely different out come.

The Mohawks dominated in the first half both offensively and defensively as the Bears didn't score a touchdown until the final few minutes in the first half as the score was 34-7 going into the second half.

Since the Mohawks secured 1st place last week and a playoff spot there was no relevance to the game. So, the Mohawks ended up playing younger players in the second half to give them some playing time before playoffs arrived.

HCI scored 48 points and held the bears to only a total of 14. Next week the undefeated Mohawks have Notre Dame for the Provincial Quarter Finals on Saturday, October 27th in Humboldt at Glenn Hall Park.
