The Ituna girls curling team was the only one to make it out of regionals for teams representing the Horizon Central Athletic Association.

Six teams entered across boys, girls and mixed play, with Ituna winning the girls regional championship over Prince Albert St. Mary's.

There was one other local team making their way to provincials, as the Colonsay mixed team defeated Strasbourg in the 'B' final to claim their spot in Moose Jaw.

Strasbourg had two opportunities to advance to provincials, also falling in the 'A' final to Rosthern.

Humboldt was represented by HCI's boys team, however, they lost to Muenster in the 'B' semi-final. Muenster fell to Carrot River to miss out on a repeat trip to provincials.

Ituna will compete for the provincial title against Regina Campbell, Esterhazy, Saskatoon St. Joseph, Saskatoon Holy Cross, Prince Albert St. Mary's, Carnduff and Moose Jaw Vanier.

In the mixed pool, Colonsay will look to outlast Moose Jaw Peacock, Balgonie, Rosthern, Meadow Lake, Regina Johnson, Sacred Heart and Rosetown.

Provincials are March 10 and 11 in Moose Jaw and Assiniboia.
