After winning the first game on the road, the Bantam AA Broncos were unable to find a second win in their best-of-three series against North East.

The Broncos fell 5-2 at home on Saturday afternoon before a 6-2 setback Sunday night to drop their second round series in three games.

Following a scoreless opening period on Saturday, Humboldt got down 3-0 in the first half of the second period and were not able to recover.

Noah Barlage and Kaden Kohle scored ten seconds apart with five minutes remaining in the game, but that was all the offence the Broncos could muster.

In the series-deciding game in Tisdale, the Broncos gave up a pair of power play goals in the first period, but were able to reply late in the period with Kohle making it 2-1.

Much like Saturday, it was the second period that got away from Humboldt, as they gave up three goals to go down 5-1.

Michael Kunz scored in the third period for the Broncos, with North East making the final 6-2 shortly after.

The Wolfpack now move on to the division semi-finals, where they will meet the Sask Valley Vipers.
