It was a good start to the annual Kevin J Grieman Memorial Tournament for the home team.

The HCI Mohawks Senior Girls basketball team defeated Meadow Lake in their first game of the tournament.

Each team will play two games on Saturday, with the third place and championship games taking place at 6:00pm and 7:30pm.

The Mohawks are joined by Middle Lake, Lake Lenore, Kenaston, Wynyard, Warman, Meadow Lake and Melfort at the tournament.
