The Humboldt Midget AA Broncos were at the Elgar Peterson Arena on December 5th where they lost to the Prince Albert Dairy Queen Chill 7-5.

Prince Albert jumped out to an early 3-0 lead less than 6 minutes into the first period that was cut to 3-1 with a Bronco goal by Michael Kunz before the end of the opening 20 minutes.

In the second frame, Prince Albert would add to their lead scoring the first two goals to go up 5-1, adding a third goal in the period sandwiched between two Bronco goals by Kaiden Korolchuk and Cody Bergerman.

The Chill would take a 6-3 lead into the final frame where the Broncos got to within two, off the stick of Jackson Mark. However, the chill would regain their three-goal lead just over the halfway point of the third. Broncos' Ryder Klapak would tuck home a late tally with just 27 seconds remaining, but it was too late as the Chill would hold on for a 7-5 victory to stretch the Broncos losing streak to three.

Cody Bergermann and Ryder Klapak each had a goal and an assist while Carter Sawchuk picked up three assists in the loss.

The Broncos will look to snap the three-game losing streak on December 8th at the EPA when they host the Saskatoon Riverkings.
