The North Central Baseball League held its playoffs on Saturday and Sunday.

In Foam Lake, Peewee and Mosquito championships were played out.

The Middle Lake Eagles downed the hosts from Foam Lake 13-10 to claim the Peewee title.

Mosquito play saw Foam Lake 1 defeat Foam Lake 2 by a 6-3 margin to win the league.


Slated for Sunday in Humboldt, the North Central Softball League began playoffs prior to a weather postponement.

On Tuesday, Mite playoffs will resume, with Lanigan meeting Wadena and Humboldt taking on Foam Lake. Those games are at 6:00pm. Losing teams will play in the 'B' final, while the winners advance to the league final.

Wednesday will see Squirt teams conclude the tournament. Quill Lake takes on Watrous, with Wadena playing the loser of that game in the 'B' final. Humboldt will play the winner for the championship.

Wrapping up Friday is Peewee playoffs. Humboldt 2 meets Watrous, with the winner playing Humboldt 1 for the title.

All games will be played in Humboldt.

7:30pm - B final between losing teams
7:30pm - Championship between winning teams
Games will be played at Diamond 4 and 6

Squirt - Wednesday, June 22
6pm - Quill Lake vs Watrous
7:30pm - Wadena vs Loser of QL/Watrous
7:30pm - Humboldt vs Winner of QL/Watrous
Games will be played at Diamond 4 and 6

Peewee - Friday, June 24
6pm - Humboldt 2 vs Watrous
7:30pm - Humboldt 1 vs Winner
Games will be played at Diamond 6

In Bantam/Midget, the Muenster Midgets will play the Muenster Bantams in a championship game at a later date.
