Humboldt Broncos assistant captain Michael Clarke added his name to the list of Broncos to win a weekly award in the SJHL, bringing that total to five.

Clarke collected eight points in three games during the week, including an overtime winner against the Notre Dame Hounds, and a three-goal, five-point night against the Yorkton Terriers.

Clarke, going back the past nine games, has 18 points (8g,10a), to move him into 5th in league scoring, seven points being league leader Brandson Hein of the Flin Flon Bombers. The Broncos are 7-1-1 during that nine-game stretch.

Clarke is the fifth Broncos player to be honored with a weekly award. He joined Brayden Camrud as Broncos to win the Player of the Week award, along with Dane Dow, who was credited with the Goalie of the Week in late September, and Rookie of the Week winners Luke Spadafora and Riker Franzcak in October.
