Imperial's Connor Ingram has signed a three year entry level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The 20 year-old was selected 88th overall in the third round of the 2016 National Hockey League draft.

He played 158 games for the Western hockey League's Kamloops Blazers posting a goals-against average of 2.68 and a .918 save percentage, his record was 81-50 and 18.

Ingram spent a year with the AA Midget Humboldt Broncos before making the jump to AAA with the Prince Albert Mintos winning a Telus Cup championship in Moose Jaw ahead of his junior career.

He was also a member of Team Canada at the World Junior Championships this season, recording a 2-1 record and a 2.57 goals-against average with one shutout, helping Canada to the silver medal.

The Blazers were just knocked out of the playoffs by the Kelowna Rockets.
