Wednesday night at the Elgar Petersen Arena was another the Broncos would like to forget and perhaps the Kindersley Klippers would be keen to playing 28 games in Humboldt this season.

For the second straight contest between the Finning division foes, Kindersley has dominated Humboldt en route to a 9-3 win.

The Klippers got four in the first, three more in the second before piling up another pair in the third, never giving the Broncos any hope.

Special teams giveth and taketh away for the green and gold on this night where they lost for the eighth straight time, the Klippers were 5/6 with the man advantage, the Broncos three goals did come on the power play, they had seven chances overall.

Daniel Mckitrick was one of the few reasons to cheer for the hometown faithful who stuck out the game, the 18 year-old from Cole Harbour, Nunavut scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season, another first year Bronco, Wesley Shipton notched his seventh in the loss. Michael Korol chipped in with a pair of assists, Connor Swystun and Josh Roberts also hit the score sheet.

Billy Gorn was on the hook for all nine goals, AA Midget Humboldt Bronco netminder Jacob Wassermann suited up as the back-up.

Just prior to the game the Broncos did acquire some help in net in the form of Ryan Larochelle. The 19 year-old spent the second half of last season in Humboldt before being sent to the Winkler Flyers in the off-season. He was acquired for a player development fee.

He is projected to start in the Broncos next game, that's Friday night when they host the Yorkton Terriers. Puck drop is 7:30.

The Broncos' online auction is winding down as well, the bidding will begin to close on Saturday, to see the over 130 items up for bidding, visit their website.

That was the only game on the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League schedule Wednesday.
