The Horizon School Division held their senior grass and sand green golf districts on Wednesday here at the Humboldt Golf Club on Tuesday.

Humboldt Collegiate Institute student Tayden Wallin set the pace shooting a two under 70. Carson Horachek, also of HCI finished in second shooting 83. Wynyard's Drayden Ukrainetz also shot an 83 to tie for second.

On the female side it was two Kelvington students leading the charge. Sara Jestin finished with a 127 while Bailey Lockie came in with a 140. Jodie PeeAce of Rose Valley rounded out the top three with a 152.

All six of those students will attend provincials on September 25th & 26th in Yorkton.

HCI will represent the district in the team category at provincials, they scored 229, 20 strokes ahead of second place Wynyard. Kelvington will go for gold for the HZSD in the girls team division.

The senior grass green tournament was held at the Punnichy Golf Club also on Wednesday.

Raymore's Dillon Poorman was the top male shooting 81. Two Strasbourg students rounded out the top three punching their ticket to provincials, Bryce Hubick put up an 83, Catlin Kelln was right behind him at 84.

The lone female in the field was Imperials Lexie Nelson, she will also attend provincials.

Imperial will compete as a team on the boys side.

Their provincial tournament is also in Punnichy on the 25th & 26th of September.
