The Under-16 Humboldt Hurricanes are silver medallists at the Indoor Soccer Provincial Championships.

Competing in the 6-aside event, the Hurricanes started out the weekend in a big way, picking up a 5-0 win over Swift Current.

They followed that up with a 4-1 win over Moose Jaw, before concluding the round robin in a 1-1 draw with SUSC Nitro.

In the semi-final, the Hurricanes met up with Moose Jaw once again, and repeated the result of the first meeting, taking a 3-1 decision.

The championship game saw Humboldt take on Prince Albert, who was able to hold the Hurricanes off the scoresheet, taking a 3-0 win.

The Hurricanes are in their second season competing in the Saskatoon Youth Soccer league, where they currently sit fifth overall in the standings with three regular season contests remaining.
