The students were swimming in sync, showcasing their skills at Humboldt Synchros' Spring Show.

The Humboldt Synchro Club hosted their spring show on Sunday, April 14th at the Humboldt Aquatic Center.

"It's there to showcase what the swimmers have learned over the course of the winter session. We don't have any competitions during that time, so what we do is work on our elements and routines, and put that all to music," said Leisl Lefebvre, Head Coach at the Humboldt Synchro Club.

The spring show wraps up the winter session and displays all the hard work put in throughout the season by all the students and coaches.

"It takes a lot of practice. As cool as it is to watch them perform these particular elements, there's an incredible amount of base work that goes into it. They have to tread water for an extended amount of time. It was wonderful to see how quickly the swimmers have progressed. They learn very quickly, they retain really well, and they work extremely hard in the water, so it was a nice way to showcase that."

14 students were in the water on Sunday. Swimming on the Junior team was Victoria Gasper, Cohen Gasper, Sophia Zimmerman, Taryn Hamilton, Blair Berting, Jenna Kirzinger, Tessa Tremblay, and Andie Tremblay.

Six more swam for the Seniors show, which included Abbey McLarty, Aidra Angelstad, Taryn Stock, Emma Knight, Sabrina MacLean, and Ashley Hinz.

The Humboldt Synchro Club will be off for the summer before jumping right back in the pool for fall registrations.
