That's Morgan Gobeil, Quarterback of the HCI Mohawks Fottoball team, after a 53-49 win over the Clavet Cougars.

Gobeil lead the team offensively, running for 4 touchdowns and throwing for 2 more.

Depth was also a concern for the Mohawks, as 5 starters are on the injured list.

But Head Coach Cory Popoff says everyone practices hard and played well.

Scoring was often and early in the first quarter, as the Clavet Cougars opened the scoring on the first play of their first possession on a run.

But the Mohawks answered back with a touchdown from Jayden Huls to tie the game at 7.

Morgan Gobeil ran it in himself for the first of his 4 touchdowns to give the Mohawks the lead.

Clavet answered back to start the second quarter, but the convert was blocked, allowing HCI to maintain a one-point lead.

Then a deep pass from Gobeil to Huls into the endzone gave the Mohawks an 8 point lead.

It wasn't just the offence scoring either, as Jordan Seipp recovered a fumble for the Mohawks and ran it home for a 28-13 lead for the Mohawks.

But Clavet answered back with a touchdown along with a 2-point convert. making it 28-21.

After an HCI field goal, Clavet scored another touchdown with 2 pointer, narrowing it down to a 3 point HCI lead.

But then Morgan Gobeil ran wild, scoring another rushing touchdown. The convert was missed, giving the Mohawks a 9 point lead.

Clavet answered back with a pair of touchdowns of their own, along with their 3rd straight 2-point convert and a missed convert, giving them their first lead since the 1st Quarter.

Morgan Gobeil ran another touchdown in himself, and with a 2-point convert of their own, the HCI Mohawks had their lead back, 46-43.

Clavet answered with another touchdown, but missed another convert, giving them a 3-point lead.

But the Clavet defence could not stop Gobeil. His 4th rushing touchdown of the game, 3rd of the second half, gave the Mohawks a 4-point lead.

The defence shut the Cougars offence down, and when the clock read zeroes, the Mohawks won a wild one at Glenn Hall Park.
