It was open season for the Hafford Vikings in the 2A Six-Man Provincial Final.

On Saturday, November 9th the 2A Six-Man Provincial Final was held in Wynyard with the Golden Bears and Hafford Vikings battling for a championship.

The Golden Bears came into the matchup as the underdogs with a regular-season record of 3-1, scoring 188 points and allowing 155 points. As for Hafford, they were by far the best team in six-man football in 2019 going undefeated, scoring 364 points and allowing 91 points through six games.

Hafford set the tone early after scoring a touchdown on their first play from scrimmage. After the first half was all said and done, it was 51-0 for Hafford. The scoring didn't stop there as Hafford added another 35 points in the second half. Wynyard wouldn't get on the board until late in the third quarter with a kickoff return touchdown. The Golden Bears had a much better second half putting up 20 points in total.

With an 86-20 loss, the Wynyard Golden Bears still had an outstanding season and captured silver in 2A Six-Man Provincial football.
