The Divisional Championship series is heading to a series-deciding game three.

The East Central Fillies kept their season alive with a 2-1 double-overtime win over the Western Prarie Thunder on Sunday, March 10th.

Abrie Hyra opened the scoring for the FIllies in the first period assisted by Jacelyn Kelly and Allison Binsfeld. The Western Prarie Thunder tied the game just over a minute into the third period to force overtime.

Nothing was solved in the first overtime frame. However, once again, it was Abrie Hyra scoring the goal and providing the game-winner one minute into the second overtime frame, giving the Fillies a 2-1 victory.

Jacelyn Kelly had two assists on the night, while Sydney Martin played all 81 minutes for the FIllies picking up the win in net.

The series-deciding game 3 will take place on Wednesday, March 13th at home in Leroy with puck drop at 7:30. The winner will advance to the finals and meet either the Regina Renegades or the Wood River Ice Cats.
