The HCI Mohawks have moved to 3-2 on the season.

On a cool Thursday night in Martensville, the HCI Mohawks were looking to gain a measure of revenge against the Royals after they spoiled their home opener in early September.

In order to claim first place in conference four of 9 man football, the Mohawks needed to beat Martensville by 14 points or more. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be the case for the Mohawks as they would fall by a score of 37-8.

Regardless of the loss, Humboldt will still qualify for provincial quarter-finals. The rivalry between the HCI Mohawks and the Melfort Comets is going to be renewed on October 26 during the playoff game.

First, the Mohawks head to Delisle on October 18 to wrap up the regular season.
