3 lead changes and a raucous atmosphere at the EPA spurred the Broncos to a 6-3 victory and a 2-1 series lead over the Estevan Bruins.

The Bruins scored the game's opening goal just 2:51 into the first period. The games opening goal has not favoured the team that scored it, as all three times throughout the series it's resulted in a loss.

The Broncos added the next two, Josh Patrician scored his second of the playoffs on the powerplay assisted by Michael Clarke and Bayden Camrud. Then Mitch Zanbon tallied his second of the postseason unassisted to give the Broncos their first lead of the game. T.J. Irey tucked home the game-tying goal before the opening 20 minutes expired, and the two teams would enter the dressing room deadlocked at two apiece.

In the second period, another Estevan goal led to another lead change when Jake Heerspink put the Bruins up 3-2. The Broncos then found the net three times in the second to provide the third and final lead change of the game. Michael Clarke started the chain of scoring assisted by Owen Guenter and Drew Warkentine. Bryson Cecconi deposited his second of the playoffs assisted by Logan Foster and Brayden Camrud. Finally, Owen Guenter put the Broncos up 5-3 late in the second assisted by Mitch Zambon.

In the third, the Broncos didn't sit on their heels. Logan Foster picked up his first goal of the playoffs and second point of the game, assisted by Braden Camrud, as the Broncos skated away to a 6-3 game 3 victory.

Six Broncos skaters finished with two points or more, meanwhile, Rayce Ramsay was structured once again, stopping 40 of 43 shots faced.

The Broncos will look to put the stranglehold on the Bruins and take a 3-1 series lead tomorrow night on March 18th in game 4 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
