Logan Schatz had a four point night, as the Humboldt Broncos took four points from their weekend, defeating the Flin Flon Bombers 6-4 on Saturday.

Schatz gave the Broncos a 2-0 lead late in the opening period, scoring a shorthanded goal on a breakaway.

Humboldt's Captain would set up three other goals to earn himself the first star of the night, and tie Estevan's Zach Goberis for second overall among SJHL scorers.

After getting out to a 3-0 lead early in the second period, the Bombers finally hit the scoreboard, replying with a goal 23 seconds later to quickly cut the deficit back to two goals.

Flin Flon's push continued seven minutes later when top rookie Chrystopher Collin brought his team back to within one goal.

Graysen Cameron would reinstate the two goal edge for the Broncos 2:50 into the third period before once again the Bombers replied a short time later.

This time, however, the Broncos would quickly find their way to the back of the net, as Kaleb Dahlgren deposited his ninth goal of the season two minutes later to put the home side up 5-3.

The Bombers brought the game back to a one goal game with just under 10 minutes to play after Brandson Hein scored on the power play.

Conner Lukan would put the game away for good two minutes later with a power play goal of his own.

With the win, the Broncos moved three points ahead of the Notre Dame Hounds for second in the Ag Risk Division, and fifth overall in the league standings.
