The Humboldt Broncos are getting set for their annual hockey school for players from first year senior novice to peewee.

Assistant Coach Brayden Klimosko has been looking after the school for the last four years, he says he will have some help along with him as he usually does.

"Someone like a Trevor Posch, a Michael Korol, Logan Schatz, and then we've got some alumni this year here. David Stumborg is going to join us and help us this year, we're looking forward to using his knowledge that he's learned with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. He's been through this a few times so we're really looking forward to it."

As excited as the coaches and players are to return to the rink following a longer than normal off-season, Klimosko added they know how important it is that the young players aren't occupied all day.

"The young kids will be in the morning, they will be there from 9 o'clock to 12pm so they will have the rest of the day to do something yet. We don't want the kids to be here all day, they still can enjoy themselves outside with the weather and everything else and the guys from out of town can have an easy trip home."

They will receive eight hours of on ice sessions from August 22nd to 25th. Players will be broken up into skill levels through out the event plus they will receive a Broncos' prize.

They have extended the early bird pricing as well until this Friday(August 5th). It costs $200, that will jump to $225 the following week.

Klimosko feels they provide a positive experience for all the players that continue to attend.

"It's amazing how many kids you see starting out the camp in novice going all the way up to peewee now. It's the same kids coming back to the school every year so that means you're doing something right in my opinion."
