The Humboldt Broncos had a few extra bodies in the lineup on Tuesday night as they wrapped up the regular season falling 5-1 to Notre Dame.

With their playoff standing already secure, the Broncos rested several players, allowing six call-ups to suit up for the game.

Forwards Boston Maxwell, Caleb Cherry, Zach McIntyre, and Mitchell Girolami all played, as did defensemen Trey Stocker and Kade Olsen.

Nick Shumlanski had the lone goal for the Broncos midway through the second period to cut a 2-0 Hounds lead in half.

Notre Dame added a pair of goals late in the period, and one more in the third.

The Broncos will be off for nine days from game action, as they don't hit the ice again until the playoffs begin in Melfort on March 16.
